Thanks to some massive willpower, regular reviewing and an order or two (or four), I currently have $130 in Birchbox points. It’s been said in many blogs and forums already, but the points system is really what makes Birchbox stand out above all the other beauty subscription boxes out there.

At this point (no pun intended), I think I’ll wait another few months (my birthday month) and go on a major shopping spree.

Here’s a glimpse at some of my favorites, most of which I’ve sampled in prior boxes. (All photos are from Birchbox.)

The “practicals”
zoya remover
Zoya Remove Plus Nail Polish Remover
This gem is on many a blogger’s Holy Grail list, including mine. It gets rid of polish quickly, is gentle on nails, and doesn’t smell to high heavens.
klorane dry shampoo
Klorane Gentle Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk
Another Holy Grail-er, this is one of the best dry shampoos I’ve ever used. I sampled this a few months back and fell in love.

The “must-haves”
living proof prime
Living Proof Prime Style Extender
A friend raved and raved and raved about this, and I snatched it up via the special CEW box. It’s truly rave-worthy and keeps my hair looking great a few days longer than my usual regime.
gimme brow
Benefit Gimme Brow
The one item on my wishlist that I haven’t actually tried yet, but it’s a brow product by Benefit, need one say more?

The “crazys”
baume de rose
By Terry Baume de Rose
Let’s face it, $59 for lip balm is NUTS. But everyone who’s tried it adores it and the packaging is luxuriously irresistible.
june jacobs
June Jacobs Perfect Pumpkin Enzyme Mask
This came to me via a Pick Two sample pack. The scent is pure pumpkin perfection (as long as you love pumpkin as much as I do) – and even though the $60 price point is a little steep, this gentle scrub leaves me glowing.

Tell me what’s on your Birchbox wishlist – are you a point-saver or spender?
